I love the sentiment that you are expressing here...that the plant emerged in time to celebrate alongside you. Beautiful.

Do you sometimes write in Chinese characters in your blog (sorry if I am not sure what language it is)? My sister's daughter is adopted from Suzhou, with its beautiful gardens...she is now almost 13, and she is studying Chinese and writing beautifully and speaking even more beautifully, after three years of tutoring.
You grow so many things from seed yourself, I am very impressed. It sounds like it gives you great joy, as gardening does for me as well.

That's wonderful that she can write and speak Chinese. I know learning Chinese is hard. Even my kids are having hard time memorizing those words.
It's hard to type in Chinese. I'm not good at Pinyin. It would take me at least a good 30 mins to type one paragraph. So I ususally write in English instead. Kind of lazy....
Yeah, this is my first year WS. It's SO easy to get one jar setup and forget about it. By the time I realized, I have too many jars already. lol.
Your garden is so complete and got flowers for all seasons. envying...

I will show Grace, my niece, your blog...she will be interested. She like to garden with her mother.
Glad to "meet" you and learn more together. Thanks!
